Exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and creative advertising is both challenging and exhilarating. Agencies must strike a balance between the efficiency of AI-assisted tools and the fear of being replaced by ever-evolving algorithms. Recognising this, our team embraced the opportunity to collaborate with AI to craft compelling content for our client’s project, a game that was yet to be released and had no existing assets. The brief was minimal: develop a Pixar-style ad from scratch. With no mood boards, characters, or reference material, the task required a high degree of creativity, innovation, and strategic use of AI.
We began by generating multiple options for the storyline, leveraging AI tools to explore concepts and refine the narrative flow. Through iterative adjustments, we established a cohesive storyline that provided the foundation for the visual elements. The next stage involved developing mood boards for characters that aligned with the story. Utilising a mix of text-to-image and image-to-3D AI tools, we explored numerous design possibilities, blending automated outputs with hands-on edits to ensure the characters looked visually compelling and appropriate for the ad. Motion graphics and video editing techniques were applied to bring the final ad to life, creating a polished, Pixar-like animation that maintained consistency across visual and narrative elements.



This project was a careful balancing act, navigating constraints of time, budget, and resources while maximising the potential of AI-assisted creative workflows. By experimenting with a combination of tools and innovative techniques, we successfully transformed a minimal brief into a fully realised, visually engaging ad. The project not only demonstrated the power ofAI in creative advertising but also reinforced the value of human oversight in guiding algorithms to achieve storytelling excellence. Ultimately, the campaign highlights howdigital ad production, motion graphics, and AI-driven content creation can converge to produce standout campaigns that captivate audiences and inspire confidence in future AI-assisted projects.
